ECO SCHOOLS

Killen Primary School have celebrated huge Eco-Schools success this year!

They are delighted to have been awarded their fifth Green Flag after a whole school effort to make positive decisions and changes that are beneficial for our environment.

Killen Primary School can also boast that they have the Eco-Student of the Year 2023 - 2024 after Kyle Humphrey was given this title at the Eco- Schools 30th Anniversary Awards in June. This is an amazing achievement.

Last but by no means least, after their second year in participating in the Sustrans Active Travel Scheme, Killen Primary have been awarded the Sustrans School Mark Silver Award by Donna from Sustrans. After participating in active travel competitions, even being awarded the top school in the North West in the Big Walk and Wheel Competition and taking part in cycle skills sessions- we are delighted to get this award!
